FAQ
Before you call, the plain answers.
The old site listed these questions and left them blank. They are answered here. If yours is not on the list, text it.
How much does microblading cost?
The price depends on the service, your skin, and whether this is a first session or a touch-up. Ellie quotes the exact number by phone or at the consultation, before you commit. Call or text (949) 339-7383 and say which service you want.
What is eyebrow microblading?
Microblading is semi-permanent brow makeup. A handheld tool places hair-like strokes of pigment in the upper layers of skin so sparse or uneven brows look fuller and more even. It is not a face tattoo that sits as deep as body ink, and it does fade.
How long does microblading last?
Most clients enjoy the result for about 12 to 24 months before a color refresh. Oily skin, sun, skincare acids, and how your body holds pigment all change that window. A yearly perfecting visit keeps the shape from fading into a blur.
Does microblading hurt?
Most people describe it as light scratching, not sharp pain. A numbing product is used. If you are very sensitive, say so before the appointment so the session can be paced. You should be able to talk the whole time.
What is the healing process like?
Days 1 to 3 look darker and sharper than the finished brow. Around days 4 to 10 the skin may flake. Do not pick. Color looks lighter once flakes shed, then settles over the next few weeks. The true result is judged after healing, not in the car on the way home.
Do I need a touch-up?
Yes. The perfecting session corrects strokes the skin did not hold and balances color. Skipping it is the most common reason a brow looks unfinished. Book it when you book the first visit.
Who should not get microblading?
Tell Ellie about pregnancy, Accutane or similar medication, keloid scarring, blood thinners, uncontrolled diabetes, and any skin condition on the brow. She will decline the service if it is not safe for you. That is part of the job.
Where is the studio, and do you take walk-ins?
Ellie Microblade is at 23183 La Cadena Dr #103, Laguna Hills, CA 92653. Visits are by appointment. Open Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 7 PM. Closed Sunday. On Tuesday and Friday, call first. Ellie is sometimes with clients in San Diego or Los Angeles, and she will tell you where to meet. Some older directories still say suite 102. Use #103.
Which cities do you see clients from?
The listed studio is in Laguna Hills. Clients come from Lake Forest, Irvine, Mission Viejo, Laguna Niguel, Aliso Viejo, and the rest of Orange County. On Tuesday and Friday Ellie also sees clients in San Diego and Los Angeles. Call or text and she will say where to meet. Do not use a second address from an old listing.
How do I book?
Call or text (949) 339-7383. A text with your name, the service, and a day that works is enough to start. If Ellie is with a client she will reply when the session ends.
